My Pregnancy Workout Routine | 1st + 2nd Trimester Prenatal Fitness and Exercise

Thanks! Share it with your friends!

Hi, I’m Taylor! I’ve been passionate about fitness my whole life, and that hasn’t stopped since getting pregnant! I wanted to share my pregnancy workout and fitness routine with you guys, now that I’m solidly in my 2nd trimester, at 22 weeks when I filmed this video.

This routine has been working really well for me for the past several months, and I’ve been alternating this workout routine with cardio days and yoga in between. Exercise during pregnancy has kept my weight gain on track and helps me sleep much better at night!

It has been shown that women who remain active throughout pregnancy have an easier time during labor (statistically), and are less likely to develop gestational diabetes. Consult your health care provider before starting an exercise program.

I am not a doctor, personal trainer, or medical and/or fitness professional at all, and I’m not advising that you do this routine. I’m simply sharing with you what I’ve been personally doing throughout my pregnancy.

Great workout during and post baby. Be mindful of planks during/post baby to avoid Diastasis Recti, something I suffered from.

Hi! So I'm 12 weeks pregnant, and i decided after 6 weeks off due to exhaustion, and constant nausea that this would be suitable. i was doing hiit 3 times a week, and taking a combat conditioning class twice a week until about 6 or 7 weeks. my temp was getting too high so i had to take it easy. i did some weight training in the days before trying this video. i did your vid straight through, busting it all out with almost no breaks and by the end i was nauseous, and weak, and dizzy. lol what kind of breaks do you do through your routine? i was sore to the touch for about 3 days! 6 weeks off didn't sound like much, but wow… it was. I'm going to try again, but either take breaks, do less reps, etc until i get my strength back. i totally felt like a wussie. i even missed my martial arts class because i was so sore! ive never missed a class, lol. 120 lunges was serious. i thought my legs were going to fall off! if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. great work out :-)
